Quilt in a day

I just love days like this … this Sunday after breakfast I put Balthazar back to bed, Jasmine saw kids playing outside, so she disappeared with a quilt and some toys to have a picnic  with her friends. Olivier left to enjoy an hour on his bike and I had an empty house.

While I was ironing …

As I was ironing yesterday, I couldn’t look at the marks on this t-shirt anymore!!

And so we took out some fabric markers from Pebeo and had some fun before dinner. I gave Jasmine T-shirt which is not worth saving, to have a go herself.

Bathrobe for Jasmine

I haven’t been very blog active lately, mostly because I have my mum over and I’m trying to spend some time with her. So all the hours on the computer I have spend recently were mostly replying to the emails and doing lots of instructions writing and website re-building etc.

New projects

I was thinking I could have a couple of days off after all the rush with Open Studio and Festival of Quilts entries was over, but that’s just not me …. I had the time and space on my hands so I started straight away to work on new projects for September and October workshop list.

The longest day in the year

Today was the longest day in a year and what I’ve been doing??? Sewing of course!! Working on the Moonlit garden – the piecing is finished, now just finish the windows … I have 96 done and 88 to go – being more than half way there is encouraging.
