Stained Glass Rose with bud Wallhanging
Inspired by the work of Rennie Mackintosh, this elegant design of roses creates a beautiful wall hanging which would decorate any interior – modern or more traditional.
The pattern contains full instructions with coloured photographs, list of materials needed, a printable design of the roses and my email address in case you need any help along the way :-)
Size: 22” x 28” (55 x 71 cm)
ROSES: 3 Fat eighths of plain-ish fabric
BACKGROUND: 2 Fat quarters of plain-ish fabric (preferably two shades of the same colour)
LEAVES: 1 Fat eight
CONTRAST: 1 Fat eight
5” strip of the width for binding
23” x 30” Piece of light coloured fabric
23” x 30” Piece of wadding
23” x 30” Piece of backing
40”/1m of bondaweb (17”/44cm wide )
12 meters of 1⁄4” bias tape for Stained Glass (get the tape which has got a strip of bondaweb underneath, this way you can iron it straight on. Clover also makes one which is sticky/fusible, so you can position it in place with your hands initially and once you have the whole project done, you can make it permanent by ironing in place)
