Thank you for a very absorbing and enjoyable workshop. It was a lovely
day out in beautiful surroundings and I know everyone else in the
group was also very appreciative. I have finished the basic design of
my project and am now adding the finishing touches, which are working
out quite well with the gold fabric I bought. Good Luck for the future
and thank you again for a very nice day.

Dear Vendulka,

Many, many thanks for coming to see us yesterday.  The ladies were buzzing long after you left with wonder and appreciation at what beautiful work you have achieved.  We were grateful for the inspiration you gave us and, more importantly, we learnt that if we make a mistake, hey ho, we are using material and threads to create something we like not something that is to be inspected and pawed over.  I’m sure that our ladies will become more confident in their own work as a consequence of your talk.  Thanks for the mental boost.I remember seeing some of the demonstration pieces on display in your workshop last year and to see them close up was absolutely fantastic.

Once again, thank you for coming to Ridgewell

Kind regards

Sue, Ridgewell WI

Dear All – I just wanted to thank you all for your absolutely lovely – made- me- smile heart with a beautiful message ‘A heartfelt gift for you’ which I bought to cheer me up and use for my arm after my lumpectomy & now a second op this Thursday and then the radiotherapy.  I was at Ipswich hospital getting my results post-op from my consultant and suddenly your joyful hearts caught my eye and the person manning the info centre told me what they were for and I said how wonderful – I carried on looking at info books etc and then just had to go back and buy one.

What a wonderful idea and the message on the card which I have also kept touched me – thank you so much for your wonderful work – this woman ie me – and I am quite sure many others – REALLY APPRECIATE your loving work.

 Thank you so much

Best wishes to you all & appreciation

I came to a felting course with you and have gone from strength to strength since.  It has given me the inclination to try other art hobbies so thanks and good luck.

I want to thank you so very much for all the joy you’ve brought into my life since the first time I stepped through the door at your shop in Newport in 2011.  Up until that point, I had been feeling very low, having left all my family and friends on the mainland, giving up a very good, well-paid job and wondering what I was going to do in the future.  That is until I met you and your enthusiasm re-ignited the sewing bug in me.  I’ve learnt so much through your courses, blog and newsletters – you’ve given me the confidence to learn new sewing skills and I always feel so energised after the courses I’ve done with you and even just popping into the shop for threads and fabric.  To say I will miss your smiling faces and your wonderful shop is such an understatement.  I wish you both and your lovely little family every happiness and success as you begin your new adventure on the mainland, I just know you’ll do well and the people of Suffolk will take you into their hearts just as everyone here on the Isle of Wight who knows you have.
I’m still in awe of the tremendous talent you both have, but feel so very privileged to have known you and gratefully for the inspiration you’ve given me.  I’ll continue to follow your news through your blog and newsletter and at some point in the future will find an opportunity to visit you in your new shop in Suffolk.
With love and sincere best wishes

Firstly good luck with your next adventure in life. It is the Islands loss that you are moving away and onto the mainland. I visited your shop a few times but as I am only on the Island one week out of four I could not manage more.I met you once at Shallfleet village hall during the art weeks and thought your work was inspirational. You will no doubt continue to inspire where ever you make your roots.
I would love to hear your news so keep up the site and may you find happiness in your new home.
