Welcome to the video tutorial for a Bucket bag.
In this online video course, you will learn everything you need to know to make this practical bag at home. I will guide you through the fabric choices, using close up videos I will guide you every step of the way.
Below is the list of the lessons, each step of the construction has it’s own lesson with a video – this way it will be easy for you to sew along – watch, sew the step while it’s fresh in your head and easily come back to your next lesson.

4 Getting started
Let’s go quickly over all the pieces of fabrics and foam before we start preparing all the components .
5 Piping
First we will start by preparing the piping strips
6 Handles
Once we have the piping strips ready we can turn some of them into the handles.
7 Body of the bag
It’s time to move on and start building the body of the bag
8 The base of the bag
Another important part of the bag is the base, you don’t want to loose things as you go.
9 Pockets
Every bag needs a pocket, find out what you need a pockets for in your bag and let’s make some.
10 Construction
We now have all the components ready and it’s time to turn them into a bag!!
11 Magnetic clasp
In order to make you bag bit more secure, we will add magnetic clasp along the top edge.
12 Attaching the base
We are nearly there!! We just need to attach the base and you new bag will be ready to take to town.
13 Finishing touches
