Free Samples

Buying fabric or fibers online can be quite difficult and we understand the need to see the item, especially if you are matching them to a your project or colour scheme. One of the biggest worries is that the colour won’t look the same ‘in the flesh’ as it does on your computer monitor.

Due to high volume of fabric samples, we had to change our policy and they are now only available with paid order or within 14 days of your last paid order. They are still free of charge, but they can only be posted to you together with an order of fabrics or wool (no matter how small)  or within 14 day of the last order. 

FABRICS: To help you in this matter, we offer fabric free samples with any order you make, up to a maximum of 6 samples per order – if you would like to add an order of samples of any fabric to your normal order, simply write the name of the fabric in the form below and fill the address and we’ll send you one and a half inch square for your reference. This offer is not available on any panels.

FELT: We also offer a free samples of Merino wool tops single colours only with any order you make, up to a maximum of 6 samples per order -if you would like to add an order of samples of a single colour wool top to your normal order, simply write the colour of the wool top in the form below and fill the address and we’ll send you a sample of fibers for your reference.

Please note that sample requests are limited to 6 per order and only 1 sample of each fabric or wool top. 

Most customers appreciate this service we offer in good faith, but if we think that somebody is trying to take advantage by over-ordering samples – e.g. many orders to the same address (or from the same IP address), or ordering several samples of the same fabrics. We reserve the right to cancel orders such as these.
