If you like quilts with negative spaces, bright colours, non traditional piecing with little rules this is a place for you!

We have 11 spaces in a large spacious room. The class costs £18, to secure your place you can now pay a deposit and we will collect the remaining £8 on the day. (or £2 if it’s your first Modern CLUB day)

If the previous descriptions are intriguing to you then maybe you’re ready for bit of Modern Patchwork in your life.

Jane Marshall has been attracted by the bold colours and free style of modern quilts these days. She has made plenty fo them for her customers and now she’s coming to OliVen to run this Modern Patchwork CLUB.

The club will run once a month on Second Thursday of the month and we will follow what people will be interested about. There will be guided projects if you wish or Jane can help you work on your own projects and develop your own ideas.

SPECIAL OFFER : Your first session is at a reduced price. This will give you opportunity to meet the tutor and get a taste of the style and the way we run the days.

You can also buy set of 6 sessions for the price of 5 – £90 – enquire in the shop or on the day.

Free all-day parking on site
Teas and coffees provided. There is a tearoom on site where you can purchase your lunch or feel free to bring your own – we have a fridge and microwave in the workroom.

Requirement

Bring modern fabrics, bright colours and usual sewing kit, ruler, cutter, scissors and sewing machine

Terms

Cancellation with 2 weeks notice – we will refund your payment or offer you a place on a future workshop.

Cancellations within 13 – 8 days of the workshop – we will refund 50% of the payment.

Last minute cancellations, ie. 7 days or less before a workshop – we’re afraid we cannot refund any payments as from experience we’ve found it impossible to fill places at such short notice.

Full refund for cancelation under 14 days possible if we replace you. Thank you for understanding with these formalities.

A requirement list will be given at the time of booking. The cost of supplies and fabrics are not included in the cost of workshop unless stated. If you purchase your supplies for the workshop at OliVen you will receive 5% discount.

A sewing machine or overlocker can be hired in the shop for £5 a day – subject to availability.
