Description
If you have done a bit of dressmaking before you started your quilting journey then you might have dreamt of combining the two skills to make a quilted jacket.
On the first day of this class we will make a toile to make the garment fit your unique curves. We will then discuss the materials you’d like to use for your garment and will find out how much fabric you will need to quilt until the next day. On the second day, we will cut out the pattern from your quilted sandwich and I will guide you through the different ways to neatening the seams. We will most likely only have time to make the body warmer, but I will show you how to add sleeves at home if you wish to.
Before the class: You will need to choose the pattern you’d like from the requirement list, purchase the pattern as I can’t provide the patterns. You will also need to cut out the pattern in your size
