Do you want to work on your Free Motion Quilting skills? Are you scared to start quilting your project? Need help with decisions on how to quilt something?
The club will run once a month on the first or second Friday of the month. We will start by warming up with a quilting design prepared for you by Vendulka so bring a max FQ sized sandwich for practising. And the rest of the day will be spent by working on your own projects which need quilting or practising new designs, whatever your needs are at that moment.
SPECIAL OFFER: Your first session is at a reduced price. This will give you the opportunity to meet the tutor and get a taste of the style and the way we run the days.
You can also buy a set of 6 sessions for the price of 5 – £90 – enquire in the shop or on the day.
Requirement
Bring an A3 size sandwich for practicing a new quilting design in each lesson. The project you want to work on for the rest of the day is up to you! So bring some spare quilting sandwiches to practise on or a project you want to start quilting but need a helping hand.
Terms
Cancellation with 2 weeks notice – we will refund your payment or offer you a place on a future workshop.
Cancellations within 13 – 8 days of the workshop – we will refund 50% of the payment.
Last minute cancellations, ie. 7 days or less before a workshop – we’re afraid we cannot refund any payments as from experience we’ve found it impossible to fill places at such short notice.
Full refund for cancelation under 14 days possible if we replace you. Thank you for understanding with these formalities.
A requirement list will be given at the time of booking. The cost of supplies and fabrics are not included in the cost of workshop unless stated. If you purchase your supplies for the workshop at OliVen you will receive 5% discount.
A sewing machine or overlocker can be hired in the shop for £5 a day – subject to availability.
