Bucket Bag
This everyday bag is made using a foam stabiliser which gives the bag structure and allows the bag to stand up on its own. The deep bucket shape makes this a spacious bag for all your bits and bobs, which can also be partially closed with a single magnetic snap. We have 4 different colourways to choose from … Autumn leaves, Kaffe Fassett purple leaves, Kaffe Fassett green/burgundy leaves and Kaffe Fassett grey feathers.
The kit contains Fabric A, B and C, foam, magnetic clasp, iron-on interfacing and piping cord. You will still need a lining. The pattern contains full instructions with coloured photographs, list of materials needed, a template for the base and my email address in case you need any help along the way 🙂

- REQUIREMENTS:
40 cm (16”) for the body (Fabric A – leaves – patterned)
50 cm (20”) bottom and handles (Fabric B – purple)
Long quarter contrasting colour (Fabric C – lime green)
40 cm (16”) lining 44” wide
50cm (20”) foam stabiliser 58” wide (preferably one side iron-on)
One set of magnetic clasps
Two 2” squares of iron-on interfacing
Matching or contrasting thread for quilting
Walking foot for the machine if you have one
Zipper or piping foot
5.5m piping cord no.3
